Campaign Priorities

Endowed Programs

We cultivate curiosity and innovative thinking in girls, fostering an academic culture where they can discover and explore their intellectual potential. We want students to have the courage to question and the drive to know—an approach to learning that Chatham Hall has long embraced. What we do, we do with an undeniable combination of care and expertise. Building strength upon strength, we will inspire global learners and entrepreneurs as we secure more of our most relevant and impactful programs.

Campaign Outcomes

List of 3 items.

  • Doers & Collaborators

We believe in roll-up-your-sleeves learning, relevant application, and entrepreneurial thinking. Our communities and our workplaces are looking for the solvers and the doers who can collaborate successfully (whether by keyboard or passport) with people from different backgrounds and hit the ground running. Although a teenage girl has natural questions as she develops her spirituality, through our long-standing Chapel Program rooted in Episcopal tradition, we focus on what unites us rather than what divides us in St. Mary’s Chapel.
  • Thriving in a Complex World

With new endowed support, additional girl-centered programs will enjoy continuity and consistency year over year, and become a cornerstone by which Chatham Hall will deliver on our unique value proposition to current and future families. Girls will learn how an integrated approach to their physical, mental, intellectual, emotional, social, environmental, and spiritual well-being optimizes their health and readies them for lives of purpose and happiness. They will build competencies to thrive in our global, complex world so they can together address the issues of environmental sustainability. And they will leverage the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, creating their own business plans, launching their own start-ups, and undertaking ventures for the common good.
  • Affordable & Accessible

In addition to gifts that springboard new programs now, endowment support helps to ensure our sustainability and competitive position. This support keeps the Chatham Hall experience affordable and accessible by moderating tuition increases, maintaining a robust financial aid program, and providing professional development resources for our world-class faculty.
During the campaign, we also encourage deferred gifts such as estate gifts. By investing in this way, donors allow us to simultaneously address immediate priorities and prepare for the future. The Esto Perpetua Society includes members who have chosen to support Chatham Hall through estate plans.
