Donor Stories

Robin Peake Stuart '69

Why do you make philanthropic contributions to Chatham Hall?
I support Chatham Hall because I love it. I love the opportunity it provides for the girls, and the families of the girls to see how their child can grow and benefit from an all-girls education. I truly believe in women and the power of women.
Why is it important for other people to support Chatham Hall financially?
I believe it’s important to support Chatham Hall because it has made such a strong impression on me and my life. I can see how the girls are evolving here. I think if we believe in the power of a girls’ school education, even though it’s been many years since we’ve been here, I think it’s an important step and a way to give back. It’s a “thank you.”

What do you like most about staying involved with Chatham Hall?
I love coming back to see how the girls have evolved, I love to see how the classes are being taught, I love being on the board with these wonderful alums and parents. It makes me feel so great to be here.

What does being an alumna mean to you?
Being an alumna of this School is so much fun! I meet Chatham Hall girls all over the place. I’m proud of the School and it’s all good.
