A Message from the Rector & Head of School

Join us in celebrating the opening of The Wagoner-LaDuke Center for Athletics, Health and Wellness.
Dear Chatham Hall Community,

On Tuesday, you received a message from our Board of Trustees announcing the naming of our newest campus building: The Wagoner-LaDuke Center for Athletics, Health and Wellness. Today, I am thrilled to share with you a closer look at this transformational space—and the strong vision that brought it to life.

At Chatham Hall, we dare to dream boldly. This building is the result of many confident choices:
  • A Board that chose to invest in a space that reflects our mission.
  • Families who believe in the power of girls’ education.
  • Donors who stepped forward to help us make this dream a reality.
This is more than a building. It is a launchpad—for confidence, competition, connection, and community. It’s where our students will strive, sweat, reflect, and grow stronger in every way. It’s a space that honors the legacy of Jeanne Wagoner and Cathy “La” LaDuke, two women who exemplified wellness, mentorship, and strength of spirit.

Every square foot reflects our commitment to the whole girl—mind, body, and spirit. And while we’ve opened the doors, our work isn’t finished. This is the largest building project in Chatham Hall’s history, and we are determined to finish strong.

To those who have already given: thank you for standing with us. And to those who haven’t yet had the opportunity, there is still time to be part of this historic moment.

I hope you will watch the video here to learn more about our amazing new facility and see how you can dare to dream boldly with us!

When we invest in bold ideas, we create bold futures. Let’s keep going.

With pride and gratitude,

Sara Stephenson
